Session Recordings: Free vs. Paid, and Everything In Between
You recorded the sessions. Great. Now what? This decision has more strategic implications than most organizers realize. The two extremes are: release everything for free on YouTube immediately, or lock everything behind a paywall and sell access. Both have merit, and both have costs.
Free recordings are a marketing engine.
