Overview
This Refund Policy explains the default refund rules for tickets and other event purchases made through Kagibag. It applies when an organizer does not provide a different refund policy.
Organizers may set stricter or more flexible refund rules for their events if those rules are shown before checkout and comply with law. Kagibag may help process refund requests, but organizers remain responsible for organizer-run event decisions.
Default refund rule
Unless the event page or organizer policy says otherwise, ticket purchases are final after payment. This helps organizers plan capacity, venue commitments, staffing, speakers, sponsors, and event costs.
We still encourage attendees to contact the organizer if something went wrong, a duplicate purchase was made, or the event was canceled or materially changed.
When refunds may be available
- The organizer cancels the event and does not provide a replacement or other lawful option.
- The organizer materially changes the event in a way that legally requires a refund.
- You were charged twice for the same ticket or the wrong amount was charged because of a Kagibag or payment processing error.
- The organizer approves your request under its own refund policy or makes a case-by-case exception.
How to request a refund
Use the refund request link from your order, event page, ticket email, or Kagibag account when available. Include the order number, ticket holder email, event name, and a short explanation.
Requests should be made as soon as possible. Waiting until after an event may limit the options available to the organizer or Kagibag.
How requests are reviewed
Kagibag may route refund requests to the organizer, review payment records, check for duplicate charges, or ask for more information. Organizers usually decide refund requests for their own events unless law, payment network rules, or Kagibag platform rules require a different result.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Banks and card networks decide how long the refund takes to appear.
Refund amounts and fees
A refund may cover all or part of the ticket price. Taxes, payment processing fees, platform fees, currency conversion costs, and already-used benefits may be non-refundable unless law requires otherwise or the organizer chooses to cover them.
If a payout has already been sent to an organizer, the organizer may need to return funds before a refund can be completed.
Tickets after a refund
Refunded, reversed, disputed, or canceled tickets may be voided. A voided ticket may not be used for entry, check-in, attendee benefits, sponsor offers, or event materials.
Canceled, postponed, or changed events
If an event is canceled, postponed, moved, or materially changed, the organizer is responsible for telling attendees what options are available. Those options may include a refund, credit, transfer, replacement date, or another lawful remedy.
Kagibag may help communicate updates or process approved refunds, but we are not responsible for travel, lodging, missed work, or other costs unless required by law.
Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank, the related ticket may be canceled while the dispute is reviewed. Please contact us or the organizer first so we can try to resolve the issue quickly.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to account limits, canceled tickets, or restricted access to Kagibag.
